Mission: When SXSW — the world's most influential innovation festival — chose Sydney as its first international home, the challenge wasn't just producing a conference. It was proving that Australia could hold its own on a global stage, across technology, culture, screen, music, and ideas, all at once.

Design: I led end-to-end programming and operational delivery of the Conference across 10+ simultaneous venues — building the systems, team, and content architecture from the ground up. Spanning technology and innovation, startups, games, screen, and the future of work, the programme was designed to do what the best events do: shift perspective. Sessions were curated to create genuine intellectual collision — between founders and policymakers, between local voices and international ones, between what Australia is and what it could become.

Impact: 345,000+ attendees across the festival. $276M economic impact for NSW. 35% year-on-year growth in international visitation. 125 sessions delivered across the Conference programme alone — 27% of the total SXSW Sydney progra
